Public institutions

Public administration deploys AI in decisions about people. We help it stand up to scrutiny.

Public authorities face stricter rules and higher public expectations. We help you prepare AI projects from the specification to operation so that they withstand inspection and public debate.

Typical situations

What organisations come to us with

“We want to deploy AI but do not know what obligations follow.”

We clarify which obligations apply to you, from the fundamental rights impact assessment to transparency of automated decisions.

“We are buying an AI solution and do not know how to specify it.”

We prepare the description of the subject matter, award criteria and contract terms so that you are not locked in to a single supplier. We always work exclusively on the contracting authority’s side.

“A digital project is late and management needs an independent view.”

An independent assessment and stabilisation of the project, with no tie to any technology supplier.

A typical scenario

An office tenders a chatbot for its client centre and the lowest price decides. After an amendment to the law, the chatbot starts answering citizens according to rules that no longer apply. The office then finds that the contract gives it no right to demand a model update, to inspect how the model works or to move the data to another supplier, so every fix means another paid amendment. These things can only be solved in the specification and the contract, not after signing.
